(Hepatocellular Carcinoma)

Is a common type of liver cancer that develops from liver cells called hepatocytes

It is often caused by chronic liver diseases like cirrhosis, viral hepatitis, alcohol abuse,
or genetic conditions

Symptoms include abdominal pain, weight loss, loss of appetite, fatigue, jaundice,
and swelling

Diagnosis involves blood tests, imaging studies, and liver biopsy

Treatment options include surgery, transplantation, ablation techniques, transarterial chemoembolization, targeted therapy, and radiation therapy
